CISL Research and Practitioner Workshop

July 15-17, 2023

Antwerp, Belgium

Abstract:

The Computational Institutional Science Lab will host a group of scholars from Europe and the United States to discuss opportunities for developing policy relevant research engaging innovations in the computational analysis of institutions (e.g., public policies such as laws and regulations). Scholars will meet over a three-day period. During this three-day period, meeting participants will (i) share their recent research with one another to foster understanding and dialogue regarding their current research; (ii) discuss opportunities for collaborative research projects that can be supported through extramural funding opportunities; (iii) engage in discussions with practitioners (e.g., EU, national, and local policymakers) regarding research opportunities and foci that would be favored in extramural funding applications and yield practical value and impact.
